COSMETIC TAX REPEALED IN NEW JERSEY- the cosmetic tax was instituted in New Jersey 4 years ago and was recently repealed in the state. The Connecticut Society of Plastic Surgeons is working with the Dept. of Revenue Services to have the tax repealed in Connecticut. Write to your legislators to try to get the tax repealed.
New Jersey found that the tax was unfairly directed towards women, percentage wise who had these procedures performed, as well as other reasons for its being removed. Help the society get the tax repealed.
